Orange County real estate and home selling prices did well during this past decade ~ from 2000 to December 31, 2009. The median OC home sold price went up 105% during that time.

According to the Wall Street Journal, since the end of 1999, stocks on the New York Stock Exchange “have lost an average of 0.5 percent a year, thanks to the twin bear markets this decade.”
